Enter the Lions Club of Yamba Annual Art Show

The Lions Club of Yamba is inviting local artists and painters to enter a painting in the Lions Club of Yamba Annual Art Show being held in September.

The Art Show will be held at the Yamba Museum (in the old Kirk building ) at River Street in Yamba. This Annual Art Show will be open to the public from Saturday 16 September until Wednesday 27 September 2023. Opening hours will be from 10.00am to 4.00pm daily.

This will provide enough time for decision making about entering pieces of art you wish to showcase and sell. The cut-off date for entry forms is 9th September.

We look forward to promoting your paintings whether they be pastels, oil, water colour or acrylic. The art show will attract locals and holiday makers which will generate sales and income for local artists and painters.

The Gala Opening Night for the show is scheduled for Friday 15 September and is by invitation only.

Entry form should be posted in time to be received by 8 September to: The Secretary, Yamba Lions Club, PO BOX 1, Yamba, NSW, 2464.

Opening night (invited guests and artists)
Friday 15 September 2023 from 5.30-7.30pm
$10 per person. Drinks and light refreshments served

Open to the public 16 -27 September 2023 from 10am - 4pm daily.

Adults $5 | Children under 12 FREE

Terms and Conditions

• Maximum of 3 entries per person. No sculptures, or woodwork etc. If Triplets or Duos they will be considered as 1 entry.
• All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must be for sale. There will be no judging of pieces.
• All work must be clearly labelled on the back of the artwork. No alteration to the title or price will be accepted once submitted.
• The signed Entry form is binding and the catalogue information will be taken only from the Entry Form.
• Photographic work will NOT be accepted.
• All art work must be suitably framed with wire or cord and D rings or mounted and must be ready to hang.
• Paintings will not be accepted outside the following dimensions 80cm x 90cm. Oversized paintings will not be hung.
• Commission of 15% on all sales will go to the National Lions Fund for Disaster relief.
• Catalogue Entries will be hung, however the organisers reserve the right to reject any painting deemed unsuitable for hanging.

All insurance costs during the Exhibition must be met by the exhibitor. All care will be taken, but no liability will be accepted by the Lions Club or the Yamba Museum for any loss or damage while on exhibition

Delivery of paintings

• Paintings should be delivered to the Old Kirk on Wednesday 13th September between 10.00am – 2.00pm.
• Collection of paintings – Thursday 28 September, between 10.00am and 1.00pm
